Tampa, FL – January 28, 2021 – Eshenbaugh Land Company is expanding its sales brokerage team by welcoming Chase Collier and Mark Kercher.
Collier joins the team to focus on redevelopment sites in and around the Tampa Bay area. He brings with him more than twenty-five years of experience in the real estate business and an in-depth background in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions and development that will enable him to serve the best interest of representing both buyers and sellers.
His past responsibilities included the acquisition and disposition of office buildings in the Tampa and Orlando divisions for Highwoods Properties. In addition to buying and selling office buildings, job functions included land acquisitions and dispositions, as well as the underwriting and budgeting for development and build-to-suit opportunities. Collier has been involved in transactions totaling over 16 million square feet and more than $1.6 billion, as well as $520 million in completed office developments totaling 2.5 million square feet.
Collier is a Certified Commercial Investment Member of the CCIM Institute, past president and on the Board of Directors for the Tampa Bay Chapter of NAIOP and REIC Tampa, as well as a member of Leadership Tampa Bay – Class of 2007.
Prior to a career at Highwoods Properties, Collier worked as a consultant and commercial real estate appraiser in the Miami office of Joseph J. Blake and Associates, where he learned to compile full narrative commercial appraisals and feasibility studies for clients including major lending institutions, insurance companies, real estate developers, and the RTC. Subsequently, he was employed with Tropical Realty Appraisal Services in Tampa, where assignments included office buildings, shopping centers, conventional and LIHTC apartment complexes, hotels, subdivisions, industrial facilities, and vacant land.
Kercher was born and raised in Manatee County and has extensive commercial real estate experience both in Florida and Atlanta. He is returning to his roots and will focus on development land primarily in Manatee, Sarasota, and Charlotte Counties.
He brings over three decades of proven professional expertise and represented some of the nation’s most prestigious companies and service firms with their industrial and office space requirements in site selection, negotiation, tenant coordination and the entitlement process. Kercher transacted over 25 million square feet of office and industrial space throughout the U.S.
“I’m very pleased to add depth to our bench at the time of the Super Bowl in Tampa,” says Bill Eshenbaugh, President and Founder of Eshenbaugh Land Company. “These have been trying times and it’s good to bring the experience of these two great additions to our team. “
